Local Conservative and Unionist MP, Luke Graham, has criticised the SNP-led Clackmannanshire Council administration for further proposed cuts to the education budget. The proposed cuts would see a further two primary schools being closed, affecting around 150 students.

Local MP Welcomes £229,000 Funding for Glenfarg Community Hall

Glenfarg Community Centre is due to receive £229,140 from the Scottish land Fund in order to purchase an adjacent former school house. The aim is to boost the facilities available at the Village Hall by extending the range of events it can provide to the community.

UK Government Fund £150 million as Tay Cities Deal is Signed in Perth

Today, the UK Government committed to £150 million for the Tay Cities Deal to fund projects in Perth and Kinross.  The Secretary of State for Scotland was joined by representatives from Holyrood and the local councils from Angus, Dundee and Perth and Kinross to sign the deal’s Heads of Terms in P
