Local MP Luke Graham held Brexit meetings in Dollar, in Clackmannanshire, and in Auchterarder to meet with constituents, to discuss and update on Brexit developments, and to answer questions on the progress of Brexit and the Withdrawal Agreement.
The meetings, which were well attended, were set up after the MP received hundreds of letters, emails and phone calls through to his office. At both meetings, all constituents had the opportunity to talk through concerns and raise questions directly with their MP.
Questions presented to the MP highlighted concerns around resident status for those from the EU, trade and ‘what happens next’ scenarios.
Commenting, Luke Graham MP said:
“I am receiving hundreds of emails each day and will get back to each person individually.
These meetings gave me a chance to talk through the agreement that is on the table, and to ensure my constituents have the chance to hear from me, and I from them. While not everyone agreed with me, everyone was heard.
I would encourage anyone who has questions to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or come along to one of my surgeries.”
